Overview Of My Skin
Being a sufferer of hormonal acne from my early teens, my skin texture has changed a lot and is still changing. I have a combination skin with mild to severe acne flare-ups every now and then. Due to this, my skin almost always looks red due to inflamed acne.
Depending on the weather condition, my skin changes its texture. Sometimes, my skin is oily and sometimes, I see dry patches on my cheeks even after applying heavy moisturizers. Makeup products only make it worse.
Hence, I avoid using any product on my skin and try to stick with natural home made DIY skincare products.
If you are an acne sufferer just like me, check out the below post.

It has a creamy and translucent texture. Doesn’t foam when mixed with water.

My Experience
My dry skin feels super hydrated and soft after cleansing
My acne didn’t feel irritated or inflamed like it does with other cleansers I have used
Since it doesn’t foam at all, make sure to remove heavy makeup using a makeup cleanser before cleansing your skin with Cetaphil Gentle skin cleanser
It did a good job in removing light makeup. Check the video below to see the proof!
The face wash is slightly acidic in nature (ph 6.3-6.8), which is well suited for the skin (ph 4.7)
It didn’t really help in getting rid of my acne which is obvious because the ingredients are gentle and don’t have acne clearing ingredients like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. For curing acne, the root cause must be first addressed. Acne may be caused due to hormones and lifestyle too! This cleanser cannot help combat that!
