2 Step Process For Gray Hair Treatment – Henna Hair Dye

a. Henna Application

Ingredients Required

1. Henna
2. Curd/Yogurt
3. Tea decocotion(Optional)

How to Apply Henna Hair Dye

1. Take the amount of henna based on the length of your hair.
2. Use curd to mix with the henna to make a nice paste.  The paste should be neither too thick or thin (Dosa batter consistency).
3. The henna paste should make your grey hair red. Alternatively, you can also mix the heena in tea decoction. 
4. Leave it overnight.  
5. Apply the henna paste next day to your hair covering every strand of your hair.
6. Start from the roots to your hair tips.
7. Wash off only with water.  Do not use a shampoo.

b. Indigo Application

Ingredients Required

1. Organic Indigo Powder
2. Salt(pinch only)
3. Warm water
4. Gloves

Indigo Hair Dye Instructions

1. Take Indigo powder (100 gms for short hair) depending on the length of your hair.  
2. Put a pinch of salt (salt helps in releasing color from a dye). Make a paste using warm water.  
3. Leave it for 15 minutes.

4. Next morning, take Indigo powder (same amount as the heena powder) depending on the length of your hair in another container.
5. Make a paste using warm water.
6. Put a pinch of salt (salt helps in releasing colour from a dye)
7. Leave it for 15 minutes. You can see a blue/indigo coloured layer on the top of the paste.
8. Mix the heena paste with the indigo paste.  
9. Apply this to your hair covering every strand of your hair.  Start from the roots to your tips.
10. Use gloves for this application.  
11. Leave the paste for atleast 3 hours.  More the time, deeper will be the colour.    
12. Rinse it with water.  Do not shampoo.
13. After 24 hours shampoo your hair.

You will have beautiful black and lustrous hair.  The hair that you will love.  With repeated application of henna and indigo on your hair, your hair will become healthier, smoother, and have a shine.
